I’m Alex — and it’s a challenge to write about me — have done so many different things! Currently see myself as an artist, traveler, dreamer, real estate broker, reader, and gardener in no priority order.  I am also a grandmother to Ryan, Josh and Kinsey, a friend to many, a confidant to some, a mother and sister – no longer a daughter – I’m also a neice and a cousin. I’m told I’m a role model to a few. I’ve been an Organization Development consultant, Diversity consultant, an Educator, a Merchandiser. Stongly believe in life long learning and experiential learning.

Born in Portland, a 4th generation Oregonian, I’ve lived in Minneapolis, MN, Washington, DC and near Heidelberg, Germany. I’m loving being back and rediscovering Washington Park, the Rose Garden, Powells, Mt Hood and Timberline, the neighborhoods where I lived as a child. I used to visit my folks so some changes I’ve seen – but there have been some really big changes! I’m thinking this is enough –and if you want the details like college, and why I moved back, or the resume kinds of things – you’ll have to ask.  I’ll respond.

As for real estate – I’m passionate about houses, city living, our wonderful neighborhoods, and meeting unique and interesting people.  It’s a win-win combination, and I do enjoy what I do! I’m also passionate about great service,  providing you with the best that I have and know, and being a resource for you!

Hello, Alex, Chris at Women’s Voices for Change alerted me to your post there. So good to hear about your efforts to be supportive to those in anxiety right now.

You and I are similar in age, grandmothers–three of mine are in Portland. Spouse and I leave for long visit there next week. It may be where we make our next home. I’m very interested in how we make decisions as we age.

Just posted “Housing Ourselves in Late Life” on my blog, http://www.alittleredhen.com. Responses let me know that there’s a read need out there which I’m sure you’ll appreciate.

    yours, naomi
